Network / Tech Support

Ensure smooth functionality of the company's computer network. Monitor and troubleshoot performance of the network. Control and administer user access to the network. Evaluate and recommend purchases of computers, hardware, equipment, and software. Document network problems and resolutions for future reference. Perform and oversee software and application development, installation, and upgrades. Relevant and broad IT Networking technologies experience in one of the following: Unix, Windows, Novell, Linux. Computer Networking skills, experience and knowledge:
- Education / Work experience in computer networking preferred.
- Skilled in deployment, configuration, maintenance and monitoring of network equipment.
- Maintenance of computer hardware and software.
- Skills and knowledge in network design and security.
- Strong problem identification, analysis, and solution skills.
- Network performance optimization and troubleshooting.
- TCP/IP, non-TCP/IP, LAN/WAN infrastructure experience.
- Ability to work productively in team environment and with company employees.
- Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical personnel.
- Training and certificates a plus, MCP, CCNA, CCIP, CCNP, CCIE
- BSCS and/or relevant experience.
